What's New for the 2018 Lincoln MKT?

The Lincoln MKT makes a great passenger-hauler thanks to a roomy cabin, comfortable seats, a whisper-quiet interior, and a wide range of comfort features. It also provides a smooth turbo power, a top-tier infotainment system, and a generous cargo capacity. High-Tech Features

The 2018 Lincoln MKT is a large three-row crossover wagon available in two trim specifications: Premiere and Reserve. It provides seating for seven passengers standard; although opting for the optional captain's chairs on the second row reduces capacity to six. Lincoln builds the MKT with comfort-seeking crossover buyers in mind: therefore, you get plenty of optional and standard equipment regardless of the trim that you choose.

The Premier model carries such features as 19-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, automatic wipers, remote engine start, adaptive xenon headlights, a fixed glass sunroof, a rear-view camera, keyless ignition and entry, and rear parking sensors. The interior is home to leather upholstery, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a tri-zone climate control, 60/40-split folding second-row seats, retractable second-row sunshades, power front seats with heating and ventilation, 50/50-split folding third-row seats, and driver-seat memory settings.

On the tech front, the Premier offers the Sync 3 infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, a 10-speaker sound system, an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone app integration, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Reserve comes with the same features but includes standard all-wheel drive and adaptive suspension dampers standard.

Additionally, drivers can soup up their Reserve trims with several trim-specific packages. The Elite Package adds power-folding third-row seats, a navigation system, a tailgate seating feature, a premium 14-speaker sound system, and a heated steering wheel. The optional Technology Package that works in liaison with the Elite Package brings a myriad of advanced safety equipment.

The 2018 MKT Reserve further benefits from a number of stand-alone features highlighted by 20-inch wheels, second-row captain's chairs with heating and ventilation, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a panoramic power sunroof. Adding the captain's chairs allows you to fit in an available second-row refrigerator console.
